Our work with L’Oreal PPD

We have been working with L’Oreal for over 10 years and have run a range of leadership and sales development programmes.
Coaching and leadership development have always been important within L’Oreal and in 2016, together we designed and delivered a flagship programme, The Pathway to Leadership, a year-long programme to develop their talent pool within sales and education, and prepare them for leadership, which we have run regularly ever since.

Here is an example of some of the sessions we have run over the years:

Pathway to Leadership

  • An introduction to coaching
  • Developing the knowledge, skills & behaviours of an effective coach
  • Supporting wellbeing as a coach
  • Coaching for high performance and personal fulfilment

The MAGIC of Coaching

  • MAGIC for Managers:
  • MAGIC for Me
  • Coaching with Emotional Intelligence

It has been a privilege to work so closely with L’Oreal PPD as they have delivered on their commitment to building a coaching culture across the division. It is a fantastic example of strategic investment in their leadership development.

Here is what Jo Richard’s, Commercial Excellence Training Manager, said about our work together on the most recent Pathway to Leadership:

Farsight Consulting

Farsight Consulting: Building a coaching culture

Read about our client Farsight Consulting and how we have helped them build a successful coaching culture across their whole business.

Our client - Farsight Consulting

Farsight Consulting specialises in digital transformation in the public sector, working across government to modernise public services and to make things better for the UK.

Our work with Farsight Consulting

We have been working with Farsight Consulting consistently since 2018, and during that time they have transformed from a small team of under 20, to now employing more than 100 people, and are still successfully growing.

Farsight have always prioritised coaching and learning for their people and they initially came to me to help set up an internal Skills Academy, offering development programmes for everyone. Together, we designed and delivered a suite of short, engaging sessions, on a range of subjects including high performing teams, influencing skills and personal communication. Since then, the Skills Academy has gone from strength to strength, and we have created learning pathways for their leaders and coaches and set up action learning sets for all Farsighters to support and coach each other to work through real-time problems and challenges.

Here is an example of some of the sessions we run with them:

Coaching Pathway

  • An introduction to coaching
  • Developing the knowledge, skills & behaviours of an effective coach
  • Supporting wellbeing as a coach
  • Coaching for high performance and personal fulfilment

Leadership Pathway

  • Developing ourselves as leaders
  • Developing and leading our teams
  • Developing and leading our business

Farsight Consulting are a fabulous example of a true coaching culture in action. Every single person has a coach, and coaching behaviours can consistently be seen in conversations and collaborations throughout the business. It is an absolute pleasure work closely with all their coaches and leaders.

Here is what Charlotte Hurst, MD of Farsight Consulting, said about our training:

“ I wanted to say thank you for all your input (and support - both with logistics and in terms of content development and planning) for the Leadership Pathway.  I thought it landed really well - great facilitation, very welcoming and inclusive and very thought provoking. "

The Feedback

Here are some more comments from the team:

"I wanted to say a special thanks to Rosie. This was a really fun Skills Academy, it was so nice to do it in person, really interactive and stimulating. It was a lovely start to the day and it put me in a good mood afterwards! "

"I can apply all of this in my coaching sessions straight away. Definitely seeing the coaching models in action – really, really useful!!"

"Really enjoyable session, especially the skills practice. I found it useful to experience being a coachee as well as a coach."

The Bike Project

The Bike Project Leadership Academy

Read below to find out more about our client The Bike Project and the work we are doing with them.

Our client - The Bike Project

The Bike Project is a charity that takes second hand bikes, fixes them up and donates them to refugees and asylum seekers living in London and Birmingham.

Our work with The Bike Project

The Bike Project came to us as they wanted to invest in some development for their leadership team.

To enhance the organisation's leadership and management capabilities, we spent time getting to know the organisation and their values and aspirations. We then designed a series of bespoke 2-hour skills bites, delivered on a weekly basis, in a live online format.

Here is an example of some of the sessions we ran with them:

Senior Management sessions

  • An introduction to Leadership and Management
  • Performance and Communication Skills

Management sessions

  • Let's Talk Leadership - How to be the best leader you can be
  • Let's Talk Teamwork - How to build a high-performing team
  • Let's Talk Performance - How to support your teams to deliver their best work
  • Let's Talk Communication - How to enhance personal communication

We are pleased to say that this approach has been very successful and they have reported a tangible uplift in the knowledge and skills of their leaders and managers.

Here is what Jem Stein, the founder of The Bike Project, said about our training:

“I've done a fair few management courses in my time and they have mostly been either very basic or mediocre but Rosie Nice delivered management training to our senior team and it was excellent. It gave us a great framework to discuss our approaches and I really enjoyed it. "
Jem Stein

The Feedback

"Really Great pacing to the session. Clear and concise information, quality over quantity. All too often I can leave these courses feeling overwhelmed. This struck a really nice balance."

"Thank you very much. ESB Training is fab"

"This was by in far the best Zoom class I have done. And it was massively more engaging than any other management training that I've done, and because of that I am putting much more of it into practice already. Rosie is an amazing teacher, and I'm sad it's over"
