Hungry Caterpillar: the Future and Developing Leaders Programme

Read about our client Hungry Caterpillar Day Nurseries and how we helped them build a year-long leadership programme for their nursery managers.

Our client - Hungry Caterpillar

Hungry Caterpillars is a family run business offering high quality pre-school child-care in West London, Buckinghamshire & Harrow. it serves. They have always valued staff development and offer on-going training for all their teams.

Our work with Hungry Caterpillars

Hungry Caterpillars approached us as they were successfully expanding and wanted to create a comprehensive leadership programme for their growing team of nursery managers. After some research and discovery time, we created a bespoke year-long face-to-face programme which gave their team the opportunity to gain the ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management as well as developing practical skills in creating high performing teams, service excellence and personal communication skills.

Each workshop was followed by a reflective task which allowed participants to embed the learning and maintain momentum after the workshops.

Here is an example of some of the sessions we ran with them:

The Future and Developing Leaders Programme

  • An introduction to leadership & management
  • The leader in me
  • Coaching skills for managers
  • Developing performance
  • Leading change
  • Managing conflict
  • High performing teams
  • Influencing skills
  • Personal communication skills
  • Service excellence

Hungry Caterpillars are a great example of investing in their people to they consistently ensure excellent quality childcare provision, provided by happy and motivated teams.

Here is what Olivia Foley, Founder and Director of Hungry Caterpillars, said about our training:
